Therefore, we process your data only in full compliance with the relevant legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act TKG 2003). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding collecting, using, and disclosing personal information on the Site.

By using our Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

While we aim to limit personal data collection to the necessary minimum, to improve our Site and marketing initiatives, we are using a web analytics tool hosted on our server to collect non-personal data that we do not disclose to third parties. • Title of the page being viewed (Page Title)
  • URL of the page being viewed (Page URL)
  • URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page (Referrer URL)
  • Screen resolution being used
  • Time in local user's timezone
  • Files that were clicked and downloaded
  • Links to an outside domain that were clicked
  • Pages generation time (the time it takes for webpages to be generated by the webserver and then downloaded by the user)
  • Location of the user: country, region, city, approximate latitude and longitude
  • Main Language of the browser being used (Accept-Language header)
  • User Agent of the browser being used (User-Agent header)

On the linked Coda application form, we may collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, email address, and any other information you submit. We use this information solely for processing and evaluating your application. We will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or to fulfil the purpose for which you provided the information.

Data Processors and External Services

To provide our service, we rely on external service providers acting as data processors under Article 28 of the GDPR. The disclosure of personal data is justified by the fact that we have carefully selected our external service providers in accordance with Article 28 (1) GDPR as data processors, regularly review them, and contractually oblige them to process all personal data exclusively according to our instructions and comply with the GDPR.

The following services are specifically:

Hosting

For hosting the Site, we use the service of next layer Telekommunikationsdienstleistungs- und Beratungs GmbH, Mariahilfer Gürtel 37/7, 1150 Vienna.

Third-party Services

We use Coda as a third-party service provider to collect, store, and process the personal information you provide on the linked application form. By submitting your personal information on the Coda application form, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information by Coda, following their privacy policy and terms of service: https://coda.io/trust/privacy.

When do we delete your data?

We delete or anonymise your personal data as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which we have collected or used them. The data of the application form is stored for the purposes of processing and evaluating your application.

An exception to these deletions or anonymisations exists if there are concrete indications of unlawful or abusive behaviour. In this case, the data associated with this will be kept for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims in accordance with Art. 17 para. 3 lit. e GDPR, as long as they are necessary for this purpose.

Which rights do you have?

Right of access

You have the right to obtain from us at any time, upon request, information about the personal data we process about you within the scope of Art. 15 GDPR.

Right to rectification of incorrect data

You have the right to request us to correct your personal data immediately if they should be incorrect.

Right to erasure

You have the right to request us to erase your personal data under the conditions described in Art. 17 GDPR. These conditions provide for a right to erasure in particular if the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, as well as in cases of unlawful processing; if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for processing, there is a right to erasure.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request us to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR. This right exists in particular if the accuracy of the personal data is disputed between the user and us, for the duration required for verifying the accuracy, and in the event that the user requests restricted processing instead of erasure in the presence of a right to erasure; also in the event that the data are no longer required for the purposes pursued by us, but the user needs them for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to data portability

In principle, you have the right to receive from us in a structured, common, machine-readable format the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.

Right to object

For all processing that we carry out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have a right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR. This means that you can object to data processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. However, an objection only leads to the cessation of processing if the objection is justified by special reasons. We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Please send your objection in this case to privacy@became.ai or by post to Became AI i.G., Schikanedergasse 2/7, 1040 Wien, Austria.

Right to file a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the:
